BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
The Board Of
Directors is made up of five members of the Great Falls Area
Amateur Radio Club elected from the general membership.
They meet once a month to handle mundane business matters for the
club such as making sure bills for standard expenses are paid,
etc.
They also discuss and develop new ideas to bring
before the club at a general club membership meeting, and handle special
circumstances should they arise. NOTE: Any action regarding major
expenditures for equipment or other matters are always decided
by a vote at a general
club meeting. The board only "suggests and recommends" ideas, which
are then brought before the general membership) . The board of
directors is also responsible for the annual audit of the
club's financials (bank account, Etc.)
Anyone
is welcome to attend the Board of Directors Meetings.
If you would like to discuss a specific matter with the board you
are welcome to do that also.
All Board members serve a
Three Year term, and may be Re-elected at the end of their term.
The Board of Director's terms are STAGGERED, so that there is
some degree of continutiy from year to year.
