STATEWIDE ARES NET
Held Every Thursday Night at 8:00pm Local Time on the MRLA Linked Repeater System

Local access to the MRLA linked repeater system is via the "KNEES" repeater 146.680(-)
located 40 miles North of Great Falls. For those in the city that can't "hit" the Knees, a
CROSSBAND link has been established on 446.680 Simplex. When using the crossband
link, please wait for the repeater to drop out completely before transmitting. Also, when
using the MRLA system, it is recommended to key the mic, then wait for a second or two
before talking.
